Since 2007, Carly has been a proud member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 667 and I.A.T.S.E. Local 873 in Toronto, where she works as an Underwater Specialist, Camera Operator, and Grip. She holds commercial certifications from the Divers Certification Board of Canada (DCBC) as both a Supervisor and Commercial Diver, in addition to being an active PADI Scuba Instructor.
After learning to dive in 2010, Carly decided to merge her passions for cameras and the underwater world. In 2015, she completed Seneca College's Underwater Skills Program, allowing her to reveal the wonders that lie beneath the surface.
Throughout her life, Carly has served as a lifeguard and water safety expert in both pools and open water. In 2019, she officially launched her team to support the Film Industry by providing a range of services, including Marine & Water Safety, commercial diving teams, and a camera and rigging department.
As the premier Underwater Specialist in Toronto, Carly is fully equipped to consult, quote, scout, plan, and execute any shoot on, near, or underwater!
Eager to travel, Carly possesses valid Canadian and British passports. She has gained experience working internationally, with expertise in both fresh water and salt water environments.

Carly Underwater is an experienced underwater cinematographer specializing in film production. She consults and works with productions to provide water safety on sets, while capturing stunning visuals from beneath the surface. Her expertise brings a unique perspective to storytelling in the industry.

Behind every breathtaking underwater sequence is a diver who understands both the pressure of diving and the pressure of a production schedule. Alastair specializes in underwater camera, lighting and rigging, bringing years of commercial diving expertise to the world of filmmaking.

Bill Wiley
Spending his career on the water in the police world, Bill has translated his water skills on film sets with Carly. DCBC Dive Supervisor, and Transport Canada Instructor for small vessel operation, Bill brings a plethora of knowledge and expertise to every set he joins.
